How are they made & why does this help you ?

• Dragon Tyre Warmers are designed to have a distinct arc when off the bike. Making the warmers pre-shaped on a mould takes longer but has the desired effect of a great fit and better heat distribution by eliminating hot spots and air pockets. This design also allows much more heat to be stored in the rim.

• Using only the best elements available from the USA they are silicon wrapped then fiberglass braided. We then laminate the element, on the mould between two layers of Nomex®. Nomex is a Kevlar based material that is a fire retardant not just fire resistant and is used in many specialized areas such as Formula One driving suits etc.

• The Elements are rapt to the edge of the warmer which completly covers the rim, this puts heat into the side wall of the tyre and rim for better performance by retaining heat longer. We also achieve an extremely uniform tyre temperature because we don't skimp on element, while this is the most expensive part of Dragon Tyre Warmers, there is over 25 meters of element in every rear warmer, compare the difference !

• A pre-set thermostat is used to cut in and out when the tyre reaches operating temperature giving an ideal linier temperature of 70°-80° . Different thermostats can be used if required.  It takes about 45 minutes for both the rim and tyre to reach there target temperatures. Tyre target temperature is 70°-80° while target rim temperature is 45°.

• We incorporate a neon light to let you know when your Dragon Tyre Warmers are in there heat cycle as well.

• Dragon's outer cover is high quality rip-stop marine nylon which is extremely strong and durable. Even the thread used on both the inner and outer cover is Nomex® which fire resistant and extremely strong.

• The purpose of using all these high quality materials is to increase the life of Dragon Tyre Warmers over other branded warmers. Being 100% Australian owned and made means we back our product for the life of the warmers, so in the unlikely event of any problems after the two warranty period we will sort it out for you promptly .

• Dragon Tyre Warmers have the Australian made endorsment. If other companies do not have this logo then they are probably not Australian made, don't be fooled.
