CAPIT has developed a product known as “VENTOSTOP”.
It is a high tech cover that goes over the tyre warmer to help create a stable environment with regards to temperature in difficult weather conditions such as an extremely cold track location, or a track with strong wind or rain present.
It helps with preventing "heat loss" due to the wind passing through from the side. No matter how good your tyre warmers are, if there is wind or rain and the ambient temperature is low, you will need these VENTOSTOP wheel covers.
They have been made of special material to ensure it is ok, when they come into contact with hot mechanical parts, such as brake discs or exhaust collector.
VENTOSTOP must be used over the tyre warmers and not as alternative to them!
As used by MotoGP and WSBK riders alike.
